MERIT Centre, with 2 locations in La Crosse, WI, offers a part-time position for a Program Assistant for the Adult Day Care programs.  This position assures that the participants of the centers are in an uplifting and safe environment with innovative programming creating an enjoyable experience.  This position assists the center’s supervisor with day to day operations including following the care plan, submitting progress notes, doing health and wellness functions such as assuring meds are taken as ordered, taking accuchecks, weights & vitals, developing the program schedule for activities on- and off-site, prepare, serve meals & snacks, assure cleanliness and safety of the facility and grounds, and general housekeeping & laundry as needed.

Hours are 14 hours a pay period — 2 days a week (Thurs 12p-4p, Tues 12p-3p)
Requirements: Must be 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license & be insurable, demonstrate leadership qualities and ability of plan, organize, and facilitate the programs.
Salary is competitive and based on experience.
