BSJ Corp is now hiring for a Director for Merit Center South and North, Adult Day Centers in LaCrosse, WI. This is a full-time position, working Monday – Friday, primarily between the hours of 7:30am and 4:30pm. The Director provides leadership to staff and participants; is responsible for the day-to-day operations, and provides individualized, high quality care, services, and opportunities for participants in order to maintain or achieve their highest level of independence.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Ensure participants receive proper care and treatment and that their health and safety are protected and promoted.
• Provide on-going case management services to participants, ensuring the completion of pre-enrollment screening, assessment/reassessment and the individual service plan in conjunction with the participant, their family, associates, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor, administer, and supervise administration of medications and accuchecks.
• Plans, schedules, implements and oversees creative activity programs both in and out of the facilities.
• Assist and/or provide cares and services to meet participant needs.
• Maintain compliance with appropriate local, state, federal, regulatory, and accrediting body standards. Maintain all necessary paperwork for participants as required under the DHS 105.14 state code.
• Select, orient, and ensure competency of each program staff.
• Provide ongoing support, training, direction, supervision and feedback to staff.
• Schedule staff; assure all shifts are covered.
• Be available to facility staff during hours of operation. 

REQUIREMENTS

Must be 21 years of age, possess a high school diploma.   Require and associate degree or higher from an accredited college in a health care related field or at least two years’ experience working in a health care related field which served a population similar to the participant group at the MERIT Centres.
