The BSJ Care Center is now hiring for a full-time Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor. This is a working supervisor position, 40 hours a week. This position works primarily days, but will occasionally work evening and weekend rotations.
Primary Job Duties
- Hires, trains, and supervises employees in numbers sufficient to perform required duties.
- Prepare and implement employee work schedules and duty assignments.
- Assists with verifying and approving time clock reports.
- Monitors quality of work performance and finished work to ensure assignments are completed timely manner and correctly.
- Demonstrates a willingness to enforce the policies and procedures of the facility and the department.
- Monitors supplies to ensure adequate quality for the operation of the department.
- Ensures that work areas are safe for employees, residents, and visitors.
- Assess situations and respond to them timely, responsively and within the parameters of Nursing Home operational standards.
- Respond timely and in a helpful manner to requests from residents, families, and other departments.
- Maintain effective working relationships with all departments when coordinating housekeeping and laundry activities
- Performs Housekeeping and Laundry duties.
