Vernon Manor is looking for a professional Nurse Manager (RN). The primary responsibility of the Nurse Manager will be to oversee and coordinate specialized nursing functions under the supervision of the DON. Current roles include MDS Coordinator, Medicare Coordinator, Staff Education, Infection Control and Resident Care Coordinators. Prior long-term care experience required.
- Coordinate with Charge Nurse and Skilled Nursing Facility Departments to educate and communicate admissions to facilitate completion of admission process.
- Coordinate and participate in Quality of Life Assessments, Care Planning, Therapy Meetings, Team Meetings, and other meetings as needed
- Monitor all assigned residents nursing documentation for accuracy, including following up with staff and/or residents as needed.
- Assists or functions as the Charge RN or Unit Nurse as needed.

Requirements:
Must be currently licensed to practice in the state of Wisconsin as either a Registered Nurse. Experience working in Assisted Living or Long-Term Care required
Compensation: Competitive starting wage based on experience.
