Vice President of Clinical Services

BSJ Corporation is looking for a Vice President of Clinical Services to provide Nursing / Clinical Leadership to our Skilled Nursing Facilities and Senior Living Communities. The Vice President of Clinical Services will direct the clinical processes and quality improvement strategies for BSJ Corporation.

  • This position works with the Executive Management team to develop strategic plans, operational plans, and goals for the organization.
  • Serves as a member of the Executive Management Team, providing counsel on clinical operations and assists in the development of BSJ’s strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations through proactive auditing and review of the organization’s continual readiness efforts.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are developed, implemented, monitored, and evaluated to maintain compliance with directives of governing entities.
  • Ensure medical and nursing services are planned, implemented, and evaluated to maximize resident/tenant/participant quality of life and quality of care in all service lines.
  • Assists Nursing leaders in Quality Improvement Management and Performance Improvement Plans.
  • Collaborate with the support services areas as needed for education and to ensure support areas operate effectively to maximize resident quality of life and quality of care. (social services, dietary services, activities, clinical records program, pharmaceutical program, rehabilitation services, environmental services, and other necessary support services)
  • Be a positive and enthusiastic leader and be flexible to meet the ever-changing needs of the Long-Term Care delivery system.

Requirements

  • Valid Registered Nurse License in the State of Wisconsin
  • Three more years’ experience as a Director of Nursing in senior or long- term care settings
  •  Experience in Independent Living, Assisted Living preferred
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a history of clinical success
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • Valid Driver’s license, with the ability to travel to locations within the Coulee Region.
